Davinci Resolve Crashes when USB Dongle is Plugged In
Hi,
I just recently got the full version of DaVinci Resolve and for some reason, whenever I try to run Resolve with the USB dongle plugged in, it crashes during the splash screen when it says, "Checking Licenses" and it freezes my computer, forcing me to reboot. The strange thing though is that it only seems to crash when I have other USB drives plugged in as well. If only the dongle is plugged it'll start up fine. I've tried using other USB ports too, but that doesn't work either.
I've tried both versions, 11 and 12, but I get the same problem and it only happens with the full version. The lite versions work perfectly fine. One thing worth mentioning is that I'm using a Hackintosh build, but again it works perfectly with the lite version. I also have a Windows 8 partition and the full version works on there, with the dongle plugged in as well as other external hard drives. Anybody have any idea what the problem could be? I tried calling Blackmagic tech support, but since I'm not using a "real" mac computer, they won't help me. I attached the crash report to this post. Thank you.
