How to keep audio sync on XML import

So I sync'd up my 2nd system sound with my videos on Media Pool. Then I imported an XML from Premiere that I cut these videos previously (with the option of "auto imported the video into the Media Pool" OFF), Resolve found the media and imported into the timeline but the 2nd audio track that I sync' isn't there. Instead, the 2 audio tracks are the same which is from the orig sound of the video.

How do I tell Resolve to maintain the sync'd that it did in the Media Pool?

I notice if I drag the same clip into the timeline, the sync'd track remains.
