Snap to Playhead

PostFri Jul 31, 2015 3:34 pm

This is kinda small but it baffles me a bit because I think it's necessary. In any other case that I've found so far, snapping an in or out point to the playhead works. However, if I try to snap an in point to the playhead while in trim mode (T) and the playhead is farther ahead in the timeline, snapping doesn't work.

So to be clear, if my in point is at 2 seconds and my playhead is at 3 seconds, if I try to trim the in point to the playhead, it won't snap to the playhead. In order to perform this type of edit, I have to have the selection tool activated, then trim the in point (leaving a gap), then select all to the right, and shift everything over. Not so efficient.

Is this a bug or was it implemented like this on purpose?
