Imported video not showing

Hi all,

I called about this issue at the end of the day on Friday 8/1 (today). What is happening is when I select the folders that i want to bring into my media pool, the icons show up gray in color and for those clips that have audio the audio mark appears. My source video is everything from .mov files for 5D Mark iII to Photo-JPEG stock footage. I even tried importing a 20 minute edited piece that i graded in Resolve 12 this morning with the same result. These files are all 1920 x 1080/30p, or at least the but of them are.

In a couple of the bins out of 50 or 60 .mov clips perhaps a dozen had icons, though they would not play in the viewer. At the suggestion of tech support I restarted Resolve...actually Resolve wouldn’t quit, so I had to force quit. After the restart the video icons started populating the media bin. I then played a couple clips, but the video disappeared from the icons and I was back to where I was before.

I did the Capture Log, then tried to shut down Resolve and it again refused to shut down so I had to force quit. I’ll make a new project and slowly add files to see if I can find out what if any clip is causing the issue.
