Davinci Resolve Lite Screen size

PostMon Dec 31, 2012 4:21 pm

The latest Davinci Resolve Lite displays incorrect screen size. The upper left window will not show video in full. The lower screen on the right will not show fully. Is there a workaround ?

Thanks

What resolution is your screen? It needs to be at least 1920x1080.

Resolve has some of the best scaling technology in the world.. but they won't scale their interface to be usable under 1680x1050. :D

Resolve minimum screen resolution is 1680x1050. If you are using a resolution less than this, that is the issue.

Yes, sorry Dwaine i was teasing. :) I do think the minimum resolution should be lowered personally though..

I'm having the same issue as the original poster with screen size for Resolve 9 lite on my 15 inch retina Macbook Pro. The screen shot posted by wdevn looks exactly like my screen. Resolve 9 lite seems to work okay except for not being able to see or hit various buttons that are overlapped by other windows or fall outside the screen. Any advice would be most appreciated!

In Mac System Preferences / Displays, select Scaled and More Space.

Thank you so much for the tip - now all is good (if tiny!) :)
