One year later, I'm also looking for this, but couldn't find a way in version 12.5.
Selecting and copying doesn't seem to do anything. Exports to EDL or fcpxml don't seem to include markers.
What I haven't tried yet is an export to AAF, and import into Avid.
Clearly something to add to a feature request list for a future version. Especially since it should be trivial to implement a simple text export similar to Avid's.

Actually, it is possible to export markers, though the option is well hidden. You need to right-click the current timeline in the Media Pool, then in the contextual menu you can select
Timelines > Export > Timeline Markers to EDL
or
Timelines > Export > Edit Index
When selecting the "Edit Index" export, it exports the current view of the Edit Index, which can be a view of the markers.
In the 12.5 .pdf manual, it is explained on pages 315 ("To export the Edit Index") and 421 ("Methods of working with markers in the Edit Index").

But, can you print the marker notes? Sure would be nice to be able to print out my timeline marker notes w/ the timecode.

HDHead has a "Resolve Marker Converter" that does exactly what you want

Timelines > Export
doesn't exist anymore in Resolve 16.1.2.
Any idea where that functionality moved to?

That's not the main menu bar but in
the context menu of the Timeline in EDIT->"Media Pool" tab -> context menu->Timelines

Wow. Is this really the only way to get to this feature? It's such a useful one I hope it's more easily accessed somewhere else!
