In resolve 12 i went to "view" then "select aspect ratio" changed my "16.9 "aspect ratio to "2.35" ( so as to add black bars up and down).
Am now trying to undo it but for some reason can't.

Can someone please tell me how to change it back to its original state which is 16.9

Hello, Akpe, the aspect ratio you are looking for is 1.77.

1.77 is the approximate answer to the mathematical questions of 16/9. 16 divided by 9 is approximately 1.77.

16/9 is a different way of expressing 1920/1080 or 1280/720 or 3840/2160 when simplified to show the smallest integers in both numerator and denominator positions, while keeping the relation the same.

The big problem am going through now is, even when i select 1.77. or any other option, the aspect ratio still remains at 2.35 (crop)

I can't seem to undo the 2.35 crop i did.

As a rule anything in the View menu does not affect the output to render and everything in the Color menu does.
