Hi guys

I just updated Davinci Resolve to 12. Everytime i click a clip (CDNG's) the program just shots down. I have used resolve before without any problems at all.

This is my computer specs.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013)
2.3 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB

I've unchecked "Automatic graphics switching" under Energy Saver in System Preferences.

Anyone that can help? Like i said, i've used Davinci before so it shouldn't be my computer.

If you are using non-BMD dng files, this is a known issue with Resolve 12.2 and will be addressed in the next update.

For now, you can install Resolve 12.1 as a work around.

Bringing this ancient thread back from the dead, for the benefit of others who have had this same issue.

I just had the same issue in Resolve 16.2.8, except with Intraframe MXF files from a Canon C300mkIII. The media was source-trimmed using the Resolve Media Manager. Whenever I would select any of the clips in the Media Pool, Resolve would hard crash to the desktop, with no obvious reasons given in the Resolve logs.

I eventually figured out that you can fix this issue by deleting all the suspect files from the Media Pool (using “Select All”, so as to avoid actually having to click on the clips with the mouse), then reimporting them back into the Media Pool.

I’ve only encountered this issue with source trimmed XF-AVC Intra clips. Weird bug, but thankfully an easy workaround!
