Are you checking the result on an external monitor through an I/O device? Because the basic viewer might not show the whole truth.

What I see in my screen is what I get in render: very poor anti-aliasing.

What are the font type, family and size numbers you are using? Are you using any sizing?

Adobe Miryad Pro, but even the default Times New Roman is aliased.
See the first lettering:

I can see here what you describe. What are the text sizes you use and did you size the text? Did you render out at a different res to the timeline? Can you post the project drp for this job?

I would guess that enable field processing is on, this option still results in awful text jaggies (I won't even use the phrase anti aliasing).

I copied the timeline content to a new timeline and the issue was fixed. It looks like a timeline problem.

Yes, I can see that.
But I would like to find the problem, so it doesn't repeat in future.

Could this simply be the case of a corrupted cache?
I don't know if copying a clip from one timeline to another deletes or refreshes the cached file, but try deleting the cache on your previous timeline to see if that fixes the problem.

The sharpening lut on the timeline is doing it...
