MOV support for Linux Resolve to confirm

Hi,

Do you guys have any idea when can we get linux resolve to play mov for confirming, or any other way to do the same

This would be a godsend, especially ProRes. Some codecs actually do playback, but even then it seems rather buggy. Especially when used as an offline. Often I can't split with the final conform.

We can convert through ffmpeg. Either from or even to (in some flavors) but are you implying we can somehow hook resolve into ffmpeg to utilize unsupported codecs directly in resolve?

I think you can install that in Linux and if Linux see the codec, Resolve will see it as well..
