Optical Flow Bug with Alpha Channel

PostFri Jan 27, 2017 11:04 pm

Hi all,

I wanted to check and see if anyone else has come across this issue before I call support about it.
I have a clip that I need to slow down 50% and would prefer to use optical flow.
The only problem is that it is a foreground clip with an alpha matte and it appears that optical flow is not being applied to the alpha.

The result is a flickering black edge around the foreground element.
See attached .gif for an example of what I mean.

Cheers & thanks a ton if someone has a solution!
_Chris

Hi Chris,
I'm using Resolve Studio 17 and suffering with the same issue. Seems the alpha some how falls out of sync. Did you ever figure out a solution?

Thanks
Craig
