NLE effects

Hi Guys,

1. I've exported my RAW files as ProRes proxies to my NLE
2. In my NLE i've added some re-framing, handheld effects, and re-timing.
3. Now I'm trying to roundtrip back to Resolve.

What is the process to have my RAW files to inherit these re-framing, and other effects?

My NLE(Premiere) does not support BlackMagic RAW files. So, I can't bring these clips individually into my NLE. If bringing in the files into my NLE is the only option, then which format should I use, so that I can bring that clip back to Resolve for grading?

Proxies edited in NLE.
Export XML or AAF (Avid) to Resolve.
Grade RAW files.
Export RAW files as new codec of choice using "Round Trip Preset" in deliver page. Export individual clips at original size.
Import new XML or AAF to NLE where effects should reappear in the new timeline.

It's complicated but it's in the manual.
My advice is to always use proxies that are the same size as your final output to avoid scaling issues on the round trip when effects are reapplied.
