Does beta3 (Win) require a newer nvidia cuda driver?

Am getting a CUDA not detected error message, which didn't occur with the earlier betas.

As there's always some peril in "upgrading" an otherwise stable configuration, is that upgrade necessary now?

You need a CUDA 8 compliant NVIDIA driver, so please upgrade to latest available. This is new in beta3 on Windows.
