People seem to struggle with the concept of beta (granted the current Fairlight integration is perhaps closer to an alpha), but just a brief skimming of BlackMagic's Fairlight page illustrates just how much more work is still required - and that is but a subset of the functionality.
Integrating two code bases isn't exactly as simple as just copy/pasting some code, so the developers should be afforded the opportunity and time to implement the integration to a standard we, as users, may expect and demand. It really is early days, and we as users should be thoroughly testing in order to provide the valuable and clearly laid out feedback and the method to reproduce the issues we log, the developers require in order to complete the massive undertaking. In other words, work toward the product we want.
For interest a demo from 2009 (when ProTools could barely offer transparent gain changes, nor bounce faster than realtime, was unable to do realtime fades, delay compensation barely functioned, or was creating fade files for every action):
