Backing up before upgrading to Resolve 14b5?

PostFri Jul 07, 2017 1:20 am

I'm currently on Resolve 12.5 but want to go up to the beta. How do I go about proper upgrade procedure including backup? The only thing I've come across is mention of backing up the database, but I'm not even sure where that file is...

Use the backup function within the database itself. Pages 1001-1003 of the Resolve 12.5 manual.

I would also export DRPs of your most recent projects as well "just in case." It also doesn't hurt to backup your boot drive, in case you have to do a scorched earth policy and go back to the way the system was yesterday.
