Copy Window Issue

Hey guys. I have this strange issue

I'm trying to copy power window from one node to another, but the mask changes it's shape and position after copying. I checked the manual and I assume I'm doing everything right. I'm encountering this problem since 12.5, so copy window and copy track data it totally useless to me. As I'm doing a lot interviews not having this opportunity is very frustrating to me. Is there any solution?

Thanks!

Please detail your system, OS, timeline res and are the clips anamorphic?

Take a still and then apply it on last node. In the end remove the unwanted nodes and leave the one with your mask. Another workaround is using alpha.

We're experinecing a very similar problem and seeing it today for the first time.

While we had copied some of the nodes that corrupted in our project, we saw issues in the initially colored clips as well. It seems to be related only to clips that had a combination of parallel nodes that leveraged a power window in one or more of the nodes.

In the scene we're working on, we're using power windows to dim down levels on lighting units and tweaking color temp for camera monitors that appear in "behind the scenes shots" which are part of an opening sequence.

We're seeing a variety of issues like a nearly solid black impression roughly the same size as the window and/or significant color shifts on the monitors, as well as blackened highlights on an octobank light that didn't even have a window on it! If we move the power window, or even turn off the node that should be causing the issue, the black patches remain. The problem seems to be a bit intermittent as well, coming and going randomly.

I've attached a screen grab of this happening and showcased the issue by moving the power window away from the rectangular LED on the left side of frame, leaving a black ghost over the light. The octobank on the right, which has no power windows associated with it, is weirdly blacked out and while its hard to see, the monitor at the bottom of the screen has taken on some weird tints

We're planning on upgrading to 15 as soon as we get these projects out the door - hopefully it's not happening there. Any feedback would be appreciated!

We're running DaVinci Studio 14 on a 3ghz 8-core MacPro trashcan with 64gb of memory, running High Sierra 10.13.4.
