Camera RAW "Save with version" gone?

PostThu Sep 07, 2017 1:46 am

Is the "save with version" checkbox mentioned on page 99 of the manual gone, or did it just get moved? I'm trying to copy RED camera raw settings from one clip to another (in a different project). Is there another way to do this?

If "save with version" is now standard, what happens to the rule for optimized media of RAW footage as stated in p. 121 of the manual?:

‚ "If the “Save with Version” checkbox in the Camera Raw palette of the Color page
is disabled, camera raw clips can be optimized, but any change to the camera raw settings of these clips will automatically discard the optimized media for those clips, requiring you to re-generate optimized media for them.
‚ However, if “Save with Version” is turned on, which allows different versions of a grade to have different debayer settings, then you cannot optimize those clips, since there can be only one optimized file per clip in the timeline."
