Hello all,

I am considering purchasing one of these with the following specs, and I thought I would ask for opinions about how it will perform with Resolve 14:

Precision Workstation AIO 5720
Dell Precision 5720 AIO XCTO Base
Processor
7th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-7700 (Quad Core 3.60GHz, 4.2Ghz Turbo, 8MB) supports Windows 10/Linux
Operating System
Windows 10 Pro 64bit English, French, Spanish
Video Card
AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100 w/8GB GDDR5
Memory
32GB (2x16GB) 2400MHz DDR4 Non-ECC
256GB M.2 PCIe SSD Class 40

Uses will include transcoding 4K XAVC files to 4K DNxHR and color grading. My grading is generally very simple, I rarely use noise reduction or Filmconvert type plugins. Mostly just simple grades and tracked power windows. Sometimes I do use technical LUTS to move between gammas/color spaces, however.

I also would like to hear any insights regarding the system's Thunderbolt 3 compatibility with blackmagic/AJA video output devices to feed my video monitor, if anyone can discern this from the specs.

I am so attracted by the simplicity of design, built in speakers that are good enough for pleasant grading, lack of desk clutter, and quasi-portability of this system that I am willing to sacrifice some degree of speed. This is a small company grading its own 3-5 minute productions once a month, not a colorist from 9 to 5 every day situation.

Let me know if I have not included enough info. Thank you for your insights.
