Problem after uninstall and re installing 14.1

I carried out the above procedure but there is no longer the welcome and set up etc
I wanted to choose premiere as a mode i was more used to
However since re installing it goes straight to the choice of project, this being untitled as its the only one
After I uninstalled i also emptied the folder where a my cache etc would be stored did a regedit and found no mention of Davinci apart from a couple of recent entries

Has anyone else seen this

Windows uninstaller leaves something behind
I used Revo Pro and this now installs and shows all Tour and Setup
