Things are starting to get moving here...
With a release >= 67.0.3383.0 of ChromeOS on a Pixelbook you can get Linux apps running in containers.
This is how I got it working:
https://github.com/lstoll/cros-crostini ... /README.mdI managed to install and run Atom but unfortunately Resolve fails on Startup.
Installation with the Linux installer went well.
- Code: Select all
root@dev:/# /opt/resolve/bin/resolve
/opt/resolve/bin/resolve: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.10: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
When trying to install libssl I get the following Error:
- Code: Select all
root@dev:/# sudo apt-get install libssl1.0.0

Package libssl1.0.0 is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package 'libssl1.0.0' has no installation candidate
Anyon got an idea how to get this going?
I'm not very good with Linux and the Terminal but getting Resolve on my Pixelbook would be amazing.
The Hardware should be fine in my Opinion. It's a Pixelbook.
