keep/save jobs in deliver job queue

Hi,
why doesnt a project also save the already performed deliver jobs as well?
I would love to have eg. one job for Youtube, and one for high-quality, which is there for all times in my project. Whenever I do changes, I just re-render those two jobs and the output files are overwritten...

or what is wrong with my approach???

thx
Mike

They are saved. If there's a setting to remove them automatically, I'm unaware of it.

well, I use 14.3 and when I render a job, quit Resolve (clicking "save project" on exit) and come back, the job is gone...

true, I did see once that a job remained in a queue, but there must be some magic, that decides to delete jobs under some conditions...

Are you using the selection in the three dot menu?

Hi Peter,

if I go to the "three dotted menu", I could say "show all projects", where I still do see some old prior 14.3 jobs.
But my newest jobs of my latest projects arent there anymore.

her is some new test:
I enter my new project, create a job, add it to render queue. dont render it.
save, quit, return... job is still there.
I render the job, save the project, quit, return.
guess what? it's still there :( :(
I added some jobs, did the same process over and over again.
Of course, I cant reproduce now :(

I WILL TRY TO FIND OUT....

greets
Mike

Hi Michael,

Another approach if you create presets that you can call for all your current and future projects.

In the delivery page, at the top left, first, you click on "Custom".

Then you make all your settings completely: format, Codec, Resolution, etc ..., audio tab and File tab, (all settings)

Always on the top left you click on the 3 small dots and you select "Save as new Preset" and give it a name. You will see in the list of presets the new preset created with its name.

You make your delivery and you test it. If it's OK, it's over, you can use it in other projects.

If you need to correct the preset, you return to the delivery tab and click on your preset. You make the modifications and always clicking on the 3 small point, you click on "Update Current Preset". (and test delivery?)

If your preset no longer serves: you can delete it

For example, I made presets for TIFFs, one in 16 bits, the other in 8 bits.

First the 16 bits
=> Save as new preset
from the 16-bit TIFF, I changed the codec: RGB 8-bit
=> Save as new preset

Now I have 2 presets for TIFF. :)

Thanks Jean!

that definitely makes sense to work around those vanishing jobs...
anyway, I will have to change the custom output filename ... or I start to rename the timeline accordingly, so that it picks it up from there...

good way, I'll do... and maybe this bug goes away one day...

thanks again,

Mike

I had the same problem and went back to version 14.2 (not 14.2.1).
Now saving of jobs is working again.

I hope this bug will be solved soon.
