Rending Problem

PostMon Feb 26, 2018 6:05 pm

Hey guys, first I would like to thankyou for all the useful information i have found on this forum.

I'm very new to DaVinci Resolve and having some problems rending my clips.

I'm mainly using DaVinci Resolve 14 for stock videos and I need to export my videos as clips not the entire edit. So yesterday I spent about 8 hours editing and grading 36 clips in one timeline.

It all seemed to go well until I started rending or exporting. When I started the Rending it told me it was doing 36 clips but it actually only gave me 21, for some reason I its won't give me the whole 36? I did this process about 10 times makes small changes but it was still just 21 clips.

IF anyone has had this before and knows some type of work around that would be amazing.

thanking you in advance.

regards

Sam

Its likely you are rendering individual clips with the same file name so some are overwriting the others.

Delivery Page, File tab. Choose Individual Clips, check "Use Unique Filenames".

Chapter 75, "Rendering Media," is a fairly critical part of the manual. Your problem is covered on page 1244.
