Hello ¿Davinci free only work with hardware connected?

Does the software only work if it has hardware connected by usb?
If I only have videos saved on the PC Can not I edit with the software?

Are you referring to the USB dongle? If Resolve is missing that, then you have likely downloaded the wrong installer. Make sure to download the "Davinci Resolve" (no "Studio") version!

As Christian said, when you have the free version, you should be able to work with the software alone, you don't need any special hardware for it.

I can not find a different download link. Where do I find it? I only saw this

If your download does not automatically start shortly,
please use the following link:
DaVinci_Resolve_14.3_Windows.zip
when I install it, it asks me to connect USB and it does not show anything else
