I'm not hearing sound when I play footage in Resolve

I don't know whether I accidentally clicked something, but I'm not hearing sound when I play back my footage in Resolve. I can hear the sound fine when I render the footage to file. Any ideas?

Have you checked Preferences / System / Hardware config / Use system sound?

That's from memory, but you'll find it

I realized it's because I have my Sumo monitor hooked up. When it's not on, I have to go to:

Preferences / System / Video and Audio I/O, and check "Use System Audio Output". (Studio 14 version)

When using my Sumo, I will most likely uncheck it since I'll be checking everything through the Sumo monitor. It would make more sense to have the sound coming from the Sumo.

I am under W10. MAC I do not know but if it's like under windows:

There are 2 things to do:
1 /
Control Panel in the OS:
Declare the desired output device as 'DEFAULT'

2 / and after:
Then launch Davinci Resolve and go in
Preferences => System => Audio Video and I / O => Use system Audio Output (chek on)

3/ configure Speacker Setup

I'm on a new iMac Pro. Works great.

Try changing the audio file track type to mono...
