I might not be qualified enough to give you the right answer. Though I dont completely understand the technicalities or LR, I understand that the changes/corrections you apply in LR are usually stored in a separate metadata file with the same filename as the source media.
DR would just read the DNG and not the metadata file, hence you see the original file without the corrections. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
I am trying to wrap my head around the reason as to why you would use LR and DR together?
You could achieve most of what you are trying to do LR through DR.
Unless there is a specific reason to using LR that I do not understand. I would suggest you try to use DR to achieve your results.
