Hi there,
first of all amazing work! Love it!
I have a question though, in the fairlight audio FX I am missing the audio noise reduction that I see in all the demo videos. After Modulation I have the Pitch effect.
I am on resolve studio on Windows 10 64bit*.
Thanks

Which OS are you lads running?
Noise Reduction AFX plugin present on OS X as an insert on the Mixer and within the Effects Library.

Windows 10 64x Creator Edition
EDIT: Added the screen capture. I assume BMD forget to pack the Noise Reduction plugin for Windows Installer.

I guess not. There are three threads on this topic. Whenever someone posts Noise Reduction plugin is missing, Peter answer had been, "Which OS"

It will probably be in the next beta release. Seems to be a simples fix. Or in the next iterations of it.

Looks like it's on Mac (from user reports), but not Windows (yet). Good news is, there don't appear to be latency issues with the native plugins (unlike Izotope's).

Well, from now on whenever I see a post of his here or in the Resolve Creative Cow forum I'm going to respond in kind.

What the hell does that mean?
Peter is the "DaVinci Resolve Product Manager". He is not a developer, so when someone reports a bug he has to collect enough information to be useful to the actual developers.
Nothing pisses off a developer more, than useless bug reports and whiny end users. I know, as I'm a developer (just not for BM).

I downloaded DaVinci Resolve 15 Beta on Windows 10 and I had the same problem

PS: Sorry for my English, I'm from Brazil.

Another reason I prefer native effects to plug-ins. I'm happy Resolve is heading down this road.

Really? Which OS?

Yes, because Resolve runs on 3 different OSs and multiple versions of each. "What OS and What version" is an extremely common requirement when submitting bugs. At the company I work for you can't even submit a bug report without filling out about a dozen pieces of information.
Developers are paid create new functionality and fix bugs, not go off on wild goose chases looking for potential issues. For example look how often people here ask about Windows 7 issues even though windows 7 isn't a supported OS.

Windows 10, same problem. No noise reduction in fairlight. However thanks for a wonderful update.

It's disappointing to see that this plugin is missing. I just did a project and REALLY needed it! I ended up having to take the audio to Audacity, remove the noise, and then line up the new audio with the video manually in Resolve. UGH!
Is there an ETA for the next beta release?

its a BETA, some things will work, some won't. BETA's aren't meant as a complete production tool. Its a time for those who wish, to spend some time to help iron out the bugs.

Yes "really" as you see in this case as it is there on Mac and runs fine. Already used it on a project.
Only proper bug reports will help getting stuff fixed as we saw in DR14 betas and before. Just saying something does not work gets binned i am sure. I would bin it.
Its a sticky on the forum.

I'm well aware what "beta" means, since I have been in software development (video game dev) since 2001. I was simply stating that I was disappointed that it was missing.

From the list of improvements in the just released Beta 2:
Addressed an issue where the Noise Reduction FairlightFX plugin could not be accessed on Windows

The plugin still not there in the B2 install on Windows (update install, not clean).
