Good Day,
In the Deliver tab, I'm exporting a :30 video that's timeline is 23.98.
My export settings are:
MP4
H.264
1920x1080
29.97
The rest of the video settings are on default.
AAC audio (no changes within the default)
When I go to export, as soon as it starts with the first frame, I receive a "Recording Failed" message.
"RECORDING FAILED WITH ERROR: FAILED TO ENCODE THIS VIDEO FRAME"
I'm thinking this possibly has to do with the change in framerates from 23.98 to 29.97??? If I export with the same framerate of 23.98, the export is successful. Essentially, I'm editing 23.98 video and exporting the final product to 29.97 for broadcast distribution.
With the last round of Resolve 14, when I performed this operation, I had no issues.
As of right now, I'm using Adobe's Media Encoder to transcode the 23.98 version into a 29.97.
Other than this issue, version 15 has been stable for me. Great updates.
