Cannot force DaVinciR to *not* recognize images as sequence

When browsing media on your system using the 'media storage' tab, it will automatically recognize numbered sequences as a movie.

However, when I batch-export images from Photoshop (e.g. Layer1.png, Layer2.png, etc) OR, when using images from a digital camera (IMG_345.jpg, IMG_346.jpg, etc), it will also recognize these as sequence when they are not.

I cannot find a way to force DvR to see them as images rather than sequences.

Is there a way to do this?

Since nobody has seen this post (due to the waiting time to get the account approved) I'm going to bump it.

There is a way. I ran into this myself last year. I'm not at home to try it but recall it's an option and not brilliantly intuitive to find.

From a Peter Chamberlain post:
There is detail in the manual about this. Media Page, Media Storage Window, top right three dots (...) option menu. Select "Show Individual Frames".

That’s very helpful, I’ll look into that, thanks.
