Suggestion on Transitions (Feature request)
Posted: Tue Apr 17, 2018 5:37 pmI find it annoying and time consuming when using TRANSITIONS. When there is not enough pre-post roll on each of the clips for the transition to actually have something to work with, I cannot insert a transition and I have to ripple each of the 2 clips manually and then insert the transition.
This is time consuming. I would suggest to add a feature somewhere under PREFERENCES to do this automatically. If the feature is selected, then when a transition is added, there would be an automatic ripple of the 2 adjoining clips.
This feature is available in other NLEs I have been working with previously and I found it to be a real editing time saver. If a user likes the present way of inserting a transition, then he would not select this feature and leave it as is.
