All though I have NOT tested the IMPORT CLIPS WITH METADATA VIA XML FROM FCP 7...

We would love to see the Ability to IMPORT an AVID ALE and Maintain or Translate those columns into Resolves media page.
We currently use Various Python scripts to convert ALEs into CSV files.

Clip Name:
When Exporting an ALE from 15 Beta clip name is not added to ALE, Please add that with the next update.

So far the testing I have done has been great, Conform / Relink still solid and creating PROXY / LOW RES files from UHD has been great for us.

Thanks Guys,

Resolve Team please add this option, Metadata is so valuable and give us something flexibility when it comes to relinking / tracking of files.

AVID is still #1 used application for Editing when it comes to the Majors.

But if PREMIERE CAN DO IT!, why don't you use that software?

 We/I do not want to use or move over onto Premiere, but we are at point where we need more Metadata Support and Flexibility in Resolve.... But hey thanks Hartmut for the great advice and help with the issue. Love getting advice from those who do not read the full thread.
