STEPS
In Edit Page with Media Pool visible:
Make a new bin (Shift+Cmd+N)
Name it orig (type orig and hit Enter)
Click on bin again and rename it to new
Click on Master in the Folder View
Note bin is shown in Clip List
Press Ctrl+Z to undo rename
RESULT
Name in Folder view changes back to "old" but is still shown as "new" in Clip List
Move pointer over stale name "old" and it is updated to "new"
