Dear Resolve/Fusion Dev Team,

I don't know if this should go here. This comes from one of the most in depth, online tutorial creators that I have found. His channel "Con-Fusion" helped me greatly last year when I was in the depths of Fusion Connect.
I would suggest the Dev Team consider his point of view. Even I find them valid as a noob.

As always, all of your hard work and advancements are appreciated. We all know it's Beta and I personally appreciate how well you keep the improvements coming.

Looking forward to smooth project workflows.
Be well,
Dario

Since Vito says he's known about the integration for months I expect there's been communication at some point. But yes, I totally agree.

From the point of a Resolve editor, Fusion integration is great news. Great for quick and simple comps, if it takes more than 10min or 1 hour or whatever then it might make more sense to use the standalone Fusion. The integration advantage diminishes the more complicated a flow gets.

Maybe BM could add a switch to create a standalone flow that opens in Fusion native, like the Fusion link they had before but with unlocked clip duration.

Personally I prefer the term FuVinci :)

I like the integration of Fusion into Resolve and I agree it’s a great move for editors to be able to do some basic work on top of their edits. Even more advanced composites/results are possible, but I would rather do those in a stand-alone Application rather than in alocked down environment.

Cheers,
Mike

I totally agree that the timeline and buttons in the middle of the interface design really take up too much space!!
