I exported XML from FCPX 10.4. Resolve apparently cannot import XML version 1.4 or 1.5.
I could not find anywhere on the BMD website, this forum or in the manual that contained the specs for something like this. Are such specs published somewhere?

Currently it appears that cannot import this way from FCPX 10.4.

To my best knowledge FCPX 10.4 exports XML versions 1.6/1.7 and they import well into Resolve...

My experience is the same as Jim's - Resolve messages that the XML (1.8 / 1.7) is not recognised, requesting either 1.3, 1.4 or 1.5. Unfortunately FCPX no longer offers that option, even in today's upgrade.
Who will move first, Apple or BMD? I hope the latter.

Okay, this is weird. My second attempt to import XML from FCPX 10.4 worked just fine!

Someone from tech support sent me this image but I have no idea WHERE one finds this info.

Sincerely wish there was a "tech specs" page for Resolve on the support area of the web site.
