Hi,

I was trying to figure out if there is an effect that can achieve this like the one available on lightworks that lets you zoom in or out of a specific point without effecting the rest of the video?

Hi Jonathan.

You can achieve this by using a Layer Mixer.
In lower node (of the 2 going into the mixer) place a mask (Power Window) around the area you want to zoom, then manipulate Zoom in Sizing window, in Node Sizing tab
