VST sound effects plugins won't activate

DaVinci Resolve 15 Beta 2. When adding additional VST sound plugins, they show up in list and indicate "working" but when the check box is checked and saved and the pop up says preferences updated. When I open the preferences tab again, they are not checked and if I restart the program they are not available in the effects list. But I had added a couple of plugins in a previous version and they show up and are available and can be used. It appears that the "SAVE" preferences button is not functioning correctly.
