If you want this fixed your going to have to not be so vague.

You need to post FULL details of the steps you are taking, what you are rendering, and system specs. For this and all bug reports. There’s a sticky forum post about this, you should read it.

Raise the buffer size in your audio interface's cpntrol panel.

That was the first thing i tried. I had it at maximum but made no difference whatsoever.

How are you rendering audio?

Are you using the Deliver page, or one of the following menu commands?
Timeline > Bounce Selected Tracks to New Layer
Timeline > Bounce Mix to Track

Have plugins been inserted on the audio clips, or on the Mixer channels and Busses?

I am using the Deliver tab to export videos.

A fairlight voice compression plugin has been added to some of the audio clips. Some have minor EQ adjustments. Nothing has been added on the mixer channels or busses.

It would be interesting to see if bouncing audio using the following rendering functions also contain clicks:
Timeline > Bounce Selected Tracks to New Layer
Timeline > Bounce Mix to Track

If those audio bouncing functions produce clean exports, using either option as audio sources on the Render page should then also produce clean exports.

It’s also worth checking if the clicks in the video export occur at the audio clip boundaries (e.g. left or right edge) with clip-based FX applied.

I am following three threads on the same subject and i have shared information about this between all three. Just to sum up what i have already said in the other ones as well:

If i disable the video tracks and export audio only then it renders 99% of the times correct. 100% correct if i do it after a clean desktop restart.

The clicks are mostly at the audio clip's edges but random. Random meaning that two renders with the same settings will have them generated slightly different.

Audio clips have clip based FX but also animated volume levels and fade INs and Outs. If i delete the audio FX the problem persists.

A workaround i did a couple of days ago was that i rendered Audio Only and Video Only and then exported a news master using those two pre-rendered clips. It worked but the fact that there is a problem when trying to render them together at once tells me there are memory leaks or memory allocation problems at the current beta version

Miltos, please detail your hardware, OS and GPU driver versions? As much detail as you can provide.

Hi Miltos

Could I ask if you're using 15.0.0b2?

From viewtopic.php?f=21&t=73007

Addressed an issue where applying certain audio effects on a clip would result in glitches at the end of the clip

I'm having somewhat similar issue with clicks introduced at render time as illustrated here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/nq5vlbldtvfya ... c.mov?dl=0
I've also attached a snapshot of the rendered audio which shows discontinuities (highlighted with red circles). This indicates to me that this is not an audio clipping issue but probably an audio buffering problem.
This has only started to occur following an upgrade from Davinci Resolve 14 Studio to 15.1.2.008 .
On the three rendered videos I've produced since the update the first 8 seconds or so appears to be clear of discontinuities. Which again makes me think it's some circular buffering problem that occurs at the wrap of the buffer. Note that during editing in all tabs, e.g Edit, Color, Fairlight, AND Deliver, the audio playback sounds fine. So I think the buffering problem is associated with the rendering process itself.

Did the person with the original query find a solution and if so what was it?
