Shot my first short with the BM Ursa Mini Pro 4.6K and it looks great, but I'm having some issues with sound recorded on a Zoom F4. We recorded 3 tracks from the boom mic, one "on", a "scream track" down 10db, and a stereo LR. The video has a scratch track recorded direct in the camera. We synced time code through out. I import the video and audio tracks to the media pool in Resolve (14), "select all" and choose "Sync with time code append tracks". The merge occurs and the video now shows 4 tracks of audio instead of 2. When placed in the time line I see the 2 tracks from the camera, and 2 tracks from the 2nd system, but the 2 tracks of second system are EXACTLY the same, no scream track, and no stereo track. It appears that Resolve just imports 1 of the audio tracks (Tr1) and made it a stereo track with identical data in both. What am I missing here?
Creativity is the ability to accept ambiguity.
