Order of the pages

PostSat Apr 28, 2018 9:49 pm

Can anyone explain me in which order the effects of each page are applied to the clips?
The question might sound strange, but here it is an example: I had a shaky clip to work with in fusion; since I like much more the resolve stabiliser rather than the fusion one, I was wondering if I could stabilise the clip in the color page and then use it in the Fusion page. In this case the color page would be applied before the Fusion one. Is there any order? If yes can it be changed?
Thank you.

Resolve has an excellent manual. I don't understand why people don't just open it and read it to get answers to basic questions like this.

Fusion compositions are always executed before Color adjustments. This is a workflow norm.

To use the stabilizer on a clip before adding it to Fusion, you need to stabilize it on the color page and then make it a compound clip. After doing that you can use it on Fusion and it will be stabilized.

But really... Read the manual! :) There's a lot of useful knowledge in it and you will help in keeping this beta testing forum cluttered from off-topic posts.

Thank you for the answer,I didn't read the manual because it is too long and skimming it I realized that I already know a good part of it, reading it all could be a big loss of time; but I should start...
