shared database install for idiots

Is there a really easy to follow guide for setting up a shared database for Davinci Resolve?

I got very excited about Davinci Resolve as a replacement to Premiere in our office but the need to set up a shared database is a stumbling block and potential deal breaker. Just being able to save a project to a project folder like we currently do with Premiere would be so much easier.

The guide to a PostgreSQL project database starts on page 48 of the Resolve 14.3 manual.

Its not the same as a shared DB but if you just want to save a project to a folder the best way is from the Project Manager window. Right-click on the desired project and select Archive, save and select the destination folder. That should save all the media and project files under that folder in [Project Name].dra. You can then use Restore on another computer to move that project there via a portable disk or network drive. I would think Studio's shared DB method might be more flexible though for collaboration once you get it working.
