HELP: accidently deleted project

Hi there,

I use R15. I just accidently deleted a project! No undo! Though, I had project backups activated to a different disk; nothing in the folder. Does D15 deletes the backups as well? That would be messed up...

How can I recover?

Do you have a regular windows backup process for all your system drive files? Assuming you use disk DB then there should be a back up there.

No. But I had the new backup feature enabled on a different disk. But that obviuosly failed! Yes, i should have checked wether it actually backed up, but i expected BMD made this important feature work flawlessly...it didn't

Since you wrote you use version 15 - you do realize this is an early beta release, right? At this point I don't have any expectations of anything working flawlessly. If you believe your project got lost due to a bug, report it in the R15 beta subforum.

If you scroll down a little further on the support page, you will find version 14.3 which is the latest stable version.

I don't mean to come off rude, I just think it needs to be made extra clear that this is an early beta version, especially as it is featured so prominently on the Blackmagic page.
