BUG - No Audio Playback with Multicam Groups using TC

When I group clips using Angle Sync - Timecode there is no playback in the Media Page or in the Source window on the Edit page.

I have tested this extensively on my Windows 10 systems which is running 14.3 but can also recreate it on my other windows machine running 15b2 and my Mac running 15b1.

Steps to recreate:

Import 2 clips into the media page.
select clips and create a new multicam group using "Angle Sync - Timecode"
Load clip into the viewer on the media page.
Clip will play without sound.

Switch to edit page.
Load clip in to the source viewer.
Clip will play without sound.

Note that if you use any other method for sync it seems to work. It is only the "Angle Sync - Timecode" option that breaks the audio playback.

After additional testing, I found that this bug only occurs when the grouped footage contains more than 2 tracks of audio.

To clarify clips with 2 tracks of audio group fine and plays as anticipated in all pages.

Clips with 4 and 8 tracks of audio when grouped using Angle Sync - Timecode will not playback in the media page or the source monitor.

Hi,
I have the same problem with multi clips synced on inpoint. two cameras with one stereo audio file each.
Mac OS, Resolve 15 b.057.

No audio in source monitor or in Media mode. Audio when multi clip is edited into a sequence and played back in sequence viewer.

What to do?

Sadly I couldn't find a solution but have submitted a support ticket/bug report to Blackmagic that you can reference if you call in for support.

Out of curiosity is the footage you are having trouble with shot on Sony cameras?
