Middle Mouse to pan is deselecting clips

When using the Middle Mouse drag to pan the timeline, it's causing certain clips to be removed from a multi-clip selection. Not all clips, just certain clips. Track Auto Select is active for all tracks.
When trying to hold Shift+CMD to lasso add more clips to a multi-selection some clips are being removed from the selection.

Is anyone else seeing this?
This is still an issue in Official Release Resolve 15
Select a bunch of clips, and then use Middle Mouse drag to pan the timeline and notice that clips will be deselected from your selection. Major problem.

What if you pan the timeline with the little gray slider at the bottom of the display? That's what I generally do.

Sure but it's definitely a bug we should address. Middle mouse panning in the timeline is big for my workflow.

While I agree that it is a bug, there's a workaround: pan in the audio area.
P.S. Oops, too early: that selected clip had no audio. It'll deselect too, if there is linked audio…

It actually doesn't matter if the audio is linked or not. If there are a group of clips selected, certain of them will deselect.
