How does the eye-dropper color picker work for fusion titles

PostSun May 06, 2018 5:20 pm

I was grabbing the eye-dropper to pick a custom color for a Fusion title and it just doesn't seem to work. I can double-click the color swatch and select the 'Pick Screen Color' option but I was expecting to be able to grab the eye-dropper and just drag it over my video image and release to accomplish the same thing.

Is this a bug (incomplete feature) or am I supposed to be combining this action with a keyboard key, etc,?

Thx

You have to add the text+ in the edit and also make sure that your footage is in the media bin. Switch to the fusion tab with the play head over the fusion+ clip. You will have a node named template. Drag a copy of your media into the flow and put it in viewer 1. Have the template node in viewer 2. Then you can select the eyedropper and move over your media and select the color you want.
