Cursor jumps to the start of clip in the color page

Here is a simple problem, to which I wondered if there is a solution.

I have two clips one above the other on the timeline and go to the colour page. The cursor is half way through one clip and I click on the other clip to adjust that. The cursor jumps to the start of the other clip. I would like to cursor to stay where it is when I switch clips.

I there a setting somewhere I can set to make it do this? I change clips by clicking on the clip in the list of clips. I did notice that if I disable the top track in the timeline view then the cursor stays put but I generally have this off when grading to save space.
