Wav files not being recognised

PostTue May 08, 2018 10:40 am

I use the free version of DR14 on a Windows 10 laptop. I have only just started video editing and use a digital voice recorder as well as my camera.
The voice recorder only creates Wav files and when I try to import them DR does not recognise them.

I save all my files for a video in a folder for the project. I have tried dragging and dropping into DR but all other files get imported to DR except the WAV file.

I have tried searching from the media tab but same again, all the files show up except the WAV file.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have the audio from my camera but it is not as good quality as the voice recorder.

Make sure that the WAV files are recorded at 48k, not 44.1. Resolve works with a 48k sample rate.
