DaVinci Resolve 15 Beta - Audio issues when I cut

I've been having audio issues with the new beta and every time I cut or even use shift + command + left or right bracket. It messes up my audio for the rest of the clip. is there a reason why? a bug perhaps? I have deleted the footages to see if it was corrupt and reimported them but still the same issue. I even checked it to see if it sounds like that on the original footage and it doesn't.

I'd like to add that when I do make a cut it makes a static pop at the start of the audio that is cut from it's original video. I tried replacing it with a new one and restating my project but still has the same problem.
Also I tried fading it out but it also messes with the audio since it's an interview and I can't work around it. Please help.
