Crash when changing DB's

have 2 DB's each with at least one project in them, with some media online, TL with clips in them, etc - ie real project. I have one DB in default system drive location, the other on separate SSD I use for cache operations.

open up resolve and open project in DB #1, all good
go to open projects panel, switch to DB #2
Open project in db#2 - project will probably load and then instant crash / vanish of app, no crash log
may also crash when flipping between DB's

you can then start R again and it will open the project you switched to ok, but obivsouly shouldn't crash when making the db switch.

R15b2, 10.13.4 release

UPDATE 1. DB #1 was created / updated in R14, then updated in R15. DB #2 was created in R15. I was able to switch from #2 to #1 w/o crash this time, but had happened several times before when switching projects in the 2 db's. lets just say I have a critical project sitting in the new DB and was looking to play it safe against anything going wrong and loosing older projects.

Ok, in all fairness and respect I'd gladly give you what you want - and normally I'd give you these things even if you didn't ask because I know the value of them in fixing things - if R didn't crash out before it possible to generate a diags log. if generating a diags log once the app launches is of some value, ok but I've been through a couple good launches now so probably nothing of interest now. sorry on that.

if R generated a normal crash log, I'd attach that or supply via dropbox. However the app when it crashes / vanishes typically doesn't generate the normal crash log. if there are logs of value hidden in the system logs somewhere I'll gladly find them if you wouldn't mind offering some direction as to which are the preferred logs to look in / search for, or copy and paste out the relevant parts from other system activity.

As for which vers of resolve - R15b2 public release and as for R14, well that db has been touched by 14.0-14.3 across OS 10.12 thru 10.13.4 + security patch. its hard to be more specific since that db was created at least a year ago.

if you would like the 2 db files I could drop box them. when I was crashing I probably should of copied them both off. now, it might not matter if R15 repaired them but I'm still willing to send them off. you know when you are trying to get up and running to do some work, you aren't always thinking about saving a trail of diagnostic files... but I'll try to keep that in mind in the future. thnx for the reminder
