Install Two versions

Hello
I Would like to know if I can install R14 again without uninstall V15?
I'm going to professional work and I prefer coming back to a secure version but I started a personal project on V15 I would like to tweak on free time.
So I need to have the two versions installed.

Thanks

Hi.

You don't write which OS you are using.

But in Windows is it possible to have 2 versions of Resolve installed by using dual boot.

Regards Carsten.

Dual boot works just as well on a Mac.
Don’t try to run two versions under the same system, though.

Instructions to parallel install two Resolve versions on Windows can be found here.

Note though that Resolve 14 and 15 use different disk database formats, so I recommend either setting up two databases using PostgreSQL, or exclusively using the Postgres database with one version, and only using the disk database with the other.

All of this is unsupported by BMD, so don't pester their support with it. This is very much at your own peril, do not use with production/deadline projects, yadda yadda.

It's ok to use two disk databases for two version, not only disk/Postgres.

We formally do not recommend having two versions installed at the same time. You do so at your own risk.
