Davinci Resolve 14 crashes intermittently (solved)

Version: 14.3.0.014

Windows 7 SP1 (build 7601), Desktop PC, i7 920, single AMD Radeon HD 6950 1GB VRAM, dual monitor (only one is used on Resolve, 12GB system RAM, SATA SSD

Diagnostic logs: NA

Project file: NA

The program seems to crash intermittently when I open the media or edit tabs, or when I edit items such as video clips in those tabs. Things like adjusting video fade in to dropping a clip into the timeline sometimes results in a crash. The crashes are somewhat replicable, but it would randomly be fine and crash in other times. I remember the program being stable in version 12.5, but it's been awhile since I've used it.

Also, it seems that I'm not allowed to post URLs and can't upload the diagnostic logs and the project file to the post. I would like to know a way to share those two files.

Then what's the latest version that supports Windows 7?

I have solved the problem myself since no one bothered to help. Apparently, Resolve needs 2GB of VRAM to edit full HD content but I only have 1GB installed. Seems that I maxed out my 1GB of VRAM when Resolve crashes. I will eventually buy a new graphics card, but turning down the timeline resolution to 720p and enabling proxy more to quarter resolution. I also close other running programs to save on VRAM. I now watch the VRAM usage when editing and I don't have to worry about crashes anymore.
