Clone Tool Checksum Verification

I see in the manual that the Clone Tool will use whatever checksum you prefer to verify the copy. However, every time I try it, the Clone Tool puts a .txt file in one of the directories with a whole bunch of sums. It's not clear whether those are the sums of only the source folder, or only the destination folder, or of both. Will an error pop up if the folders don't match? Do I have to manually run checksums on every destination file and compare them to the .txt file? That seems extremely laborious and the manual says basically nothing.

An error warning will popup if the checksum is not correct. Those are the confirmed checksum reports in the file.

Thank you! Love this feature, by the way, just wanted to make sure that those are the verified checksums. A related question - if the destination folder already contains some of the source media, will it be copied again and overwritten or just verified? I ask in case I need to restart Resolve halfway through a clone and have to start the process again - will it "resume" or restart the copying?

I haven't tried but I presume overwrite it again.

Just did a test by putting a bunch of files in a folder, cloning it, then deleting one tiny file in the destination folder. When I hit "Clone" again it took the exact amount of time as the initial copy, so it looks like it does overwrite them.
